City of Lakeland residential energy efficiency rebate program
program summary
Lakeland Electric offers a conservation program for residential customers to save energy in their homes. Rebates are available for heat pumps, HVAC maintenance, attic insulation upgrades, and select ENERGY STAR-rated appliances. The $100 HVAC checkup rebate is for residential customers that have completed a pre-season heating and cooling system tune-up by a licensed HVAC contractor. A list of services that must be completed in order to qualify for the rebate is located on the program website. Heat pumps replacing older, inefficient AC systems must meet all efficiency standards on the program website. Rebates are available while funding lasts.
