Energy Efficiency Rebates

Idaho Power - Easy Upgrades for Simple Retrofits Rebate Program

Idaho Power Co commercial energy efficiency rebate program

program summary

Idaho Power offers incentives for its commercial and industrial customers in Idaho and Oregon to upgrade to more efficient equipment in their facilities. The utility provides rebates for lighting equipment and controls, HVAC equipment and controls, motors and controls, building shells, plug loads, and food service equipment.

Customers interested in participating in the program must first submit a preliminary application if the expected incentive payments are above $1,000. Upon review and acceptance, the preliminary application will reserve the project’s incentive funds for up to 90 days. Final applications for pre-approved projects or small projects that do not need pre-approval must be submitted within 90 days of project completion. Customers can see how much they are eligible to receive by using the incentive calculation worksheets on the program website.
