Idaho Power - Commercial Custom Efficiency Program
Idaho Power Co commercial energy efficiency rebate program
program summary
Large commercial and industrial Idaho Power customers that reduce energy usage through more efficient electrical commercial and industrial processes and management practices may qualify for an incentive through the Idaho Power Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program (CIP). The CIP is available for all business customers. Incentives are offered through the Custom Incentives Program or for Strategic Energy Management.
Custom incentive project examples include ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, process pumps and fans or other complex systems. Strategic energy management incentives (SEM) offer $0.025/kWh saved or 100% of project costs, whichever is least. Projects include tune-ups, industrial system optimization or retro-commission and other non-capital measures. Additional retrofit incentives can be found here.
Contact Idaho Power regarding the minimum required savings in order to participate. Customers must obtain pre-approval for all custom efficiency projects and lighting projects with estimated incentives of $1,500 or more. Customers will receive incentives once a project has been completed and verified. For more information, including an application, project overview and service representative contact information, view the Idaho Power program web site.
