program summary
The New Construction Service Team supports project goals while offering the opportunity to explore energy-saving ideas and strategies. These strategies may offer long-term energy and cost savings for projects. Financial incentives and technical assistance are offered to encourage design teams and building owners to surpass standard practices and exceed energy code requirements.
This program offers two pathways:
The Best Practices pathway - This method offers a prescriptive approach to new construction projects.
Performance pathway - This pathway offers a custom approach that targets projects in their early design phase to maximize performance improvement opportunities.
