Incentives are available for a wide range of non-lighting upgrades, including HVAC systems, chillers, fans, refrigeration, commercial kitchen appliances, water-saving devices, and building envelope improvements like insulation and cool roofs. Rebates are typically capped at 75% of the equipment cost and are designed to offset the upfront investment required to install efficient technologies. Custom incentives are also available for projects not covered under the prescriptive list. To qualify, equipment must meet program efficiency requirements, be installed at facilities served by Duke Energy, and result in measurable energy savings.
