Southern Indiana Rural Electric Coop offers an incentive program for customers to help offset the cost of high efficiency heating and cooling equipment. Rebates are available for energy efficiency water heaters; air-source, dual fuel, and geothermal heat pumps. Equipment can be installed in new construction or an existing home or mobile home. Rebate amounts vary depending on equipment efficiency, installation location, and capacity. Interested customers should complete an application form and send it in with the original product receipt/invoice. All rebate applications for water heaters and heat pumps must be completed and returned to the Southern Indiana Power office within 30 days of equipment purchase.
