Montana-Dakota Utilities offers limited-time incentive programs to help Montana commercial customers reduce energy costs by upgrading to high-efficiency natural gas and electric equipment. For natural gas users, rebates are available for replacing existing furnaces with high-efficiency models and for custom energy-saving projects that receive pre-approval. Electric customers can receive lighting incentives for upgrading to efficient technologies, as well as custom rebates for large-scale energy-saving initiatives. All programs require completed applications and may involve pre-approval, especially for larger projects. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis through the plan year (March 1–February 28), with payments issued by check. See website for details.
