PSEG Long Island - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

PSEG Long Island offers a variety of incentives which help residential customers upgrade to more energy efficient equipment and appliances in their homes. Incentives are available for home energy audits and for purchase and installation of equipment including washers, dryers, pool pumps, lighting, heat-pumps, and geothermal energy. Applications for rebates can be applied online, or through mail. Applications should be accompanied by supporting documentation, including copy a of recent PSEG residential electric bill, copy of sales receipt including manufacturer, model number and price of the product purchased. 

In-home energy assessment is available through the PSEG's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program (for homes with central A/C) and through Home Performance Direct program (for homes without central A/C). These programs offer home energy audits at no additional cost. An energy audit will help identify energy saving measures in the home.
