program summary

Duke Energy’s Smart $aver Incentive program offers rebates to non-residential customers to install energy efficient equipment in commercial/industrial facilities. All Duke Energy Ohio nonresidential electric customers are eligible, except those that have elected to opt out of the Energy Efficiency Rider. 

Rebates are available for a wide range of equipment including lighting, heating and cooling equipment, chillers and thermal storage units, pumps, VFDs, process equipment, and food service equipment. To receive the rebates, customers should submit a completed application within 90 days after the equipment is installed and operational. 


Custom applications for up to 50% of cost on any electricity saving device can be sent to [email protected].   Demand response programs are also available, providing rewards and load curtailment via a dedicated web portal for each commercial customer.
