Energy Efficiency Rebates

Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority - Demand and Energy Efficiency Program (DEEP)

City of Marlow commercial energy efficiency rebate program

program summary

The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA) offers the Demand and Energy Efficiency Program (DEEP) to eligible commercial, industrial, public sector, and non-profit customers served by OMPA member cities. This program encourages facilities to make energy efficient upgrades which cut summer peak demand. OMPA will provide financial incentives, and in some cases match the energy efficient investment of the facility. Incentives received cannot exceed the cost of labor and materials for any project. All projects are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and incentives vary based upon the estimated savings and peak demand impact. Upgrades may include lighting, geothermal heat pumps, air source heat pumps, and dual fuel heat pumps. Incentives above $100,000 require approval by the OMPA board. Commercial customers are eligible for both DEEP and WISE rebates, although they will only receive an incentive check from one program.

Interested customers must submit a complete application, including a full project description with a cost summary for labor, equipment and materials. Applications may be found on the program website listed above. Contact OMPA for any other information on this program or view the customer brochure.
