program summary
The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA) offers residential and commercial customers rebates on a variety of HVAC equipment through its Ways I Save Electricity (WISE) Rebate program. This program encourages customers and builders to upgrade to energy efficient heating and cooling equipment in participating homes and facilities. Rebates are available on air-source heat pumps, dual fuel heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps for residential and commercial customers; ceiling insulation and water heater rebates are available for residential customers only. OMPA will cover 50% of the cost for eligible upgrades through this program, while local municipalities will cover the remaining 50% of the cost.
