Rock Hill Utilities - Water Heater and Heat Pump Rebate Program

Through the SmartChoice program, Rock Hill Utilities offers rebates for water heater and heat pump replacements. Information on financing for heat pumps can also be found on the web site listed above. 

Customers who qualify as all-electric may be eligible for the Great Rate program. The Great Rate program qualifies the customer for a discount of up to 4 cents per kWh. To qualify for the Great Rate program, the water heater must be equipped with a Smart Switch and a minimum 16 SEER. This controls the flow of electricity to the heater during peak periods of demand.
