Southeastern Electric Cooperative - Electric Equipment Loan Program

Southeastern Electric offers low-interest loan programs to support rural economic development and help members invest in energy-efficient electric heating, cooling, and home improvements. Through its partnership with the Rural Electric Economic Development (REED) Fund, financing is available for new or expanding businesses and community projects in rural areas. Members can also access affordable loans for geothermal and air-to-air heat pumps, electric heat systems, and weatherization upgrades like insulation, windows, and doors. All loans are subject to credit checks, board approval, and require mortgage collateral, with payments made via automatic bank withdrawal.
