program summary
Within the GreenSense program, Denton Municipal Electric's Standard Offer Program provides rebates to large commercial and industrial customers for peak demand reductions exceeding 50kW. Eligible upgrades include lighting retrofits, HVAC upgrades and motor replacements. Customers must submit a proposal and application with estimated project cost, estimated demand savings, and method of the deman savings calculation. Customers will be notified in writing within 30 days of complete application submission if the project has been accepted. DME will schedule an initial inspection for eligible applicants. Within 30 days after project completion, the customer must set up a final inspection to verify demand reduction and arrange a rebate credit to the account.
